Financial Planning

You’ve heard those words before: “Comprehensive Financial Plan.” Do you have one?

We believe it is important for our clients to be healthy in all areas of their financial life. This includes five key areas of financial planning: investment planning, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, and tax planning. We like to review these five areas and, using WealthVision (a program powered by eMoney), your personal financial planner can show you what your financial health picture looks like.

Investment Planning: We will review your current investment statements and, based on your goals or financial situation changes, identify opportunities for improvements.

Retirement Planning: Confidence is knowing you will be comfortable in retirement. We specialize in the fundamentals of your future retirement, including retirement plan rules, income needs, and cash flow.

Risk Management: It’s important to protect yourself. We can help you navigate the world of insurance—life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability insurance, and property and casualty insurance—so you, your family, and/or your business are not at risk from any of life’s unforeseen events.

Estate Planning: There are three places your wealth can go when you die: charity, family/friends, or the government. Let us help you plan accordingly so your assets go where you want them to.

Tax Planning: We work closely with our clients’ CPAs with the common goal of reducing tax liability. This can be attained by deduction planning, capital loss harvesting, reducing taxable income, and year-end planning strategies.

What does a financial planner do?
