Thomas R. Wiseman, II
Tom Wiseman launched his career in the Financial Services industry with a focus on mutual funds in 1985, after studying at the College of Wooster. Tom later moved to Virginia and founded Wiseman & Associates. After successfully establishing a roster of high-net-worth clients in the Winchester area, Tom expanded the firm to include a Middleburg office. Tom is responsible for overall firm direction and new business development. He specializes in strategic estate and business planning, investment management and retirement planning. He enjoys the rewards this industry offers of truly helping people and seeing them accomplish their financial and personal goals.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys golf, fox hunting and spending time at home with his son, William. You might recognize him strolling down the streets of Middleburg and Winchester on occassion with his Great Pyrenees, Willa.
Associate Wealth Manager
Lucy began working with W&A in December of 2014. Lucy aids in new business development and current client management. Prior to this position, Lucy worked as a Registered Paraplanner for a financial planning firm in Warrenton, VA. Lucy graduated from Hollins University in 2008 and received her B.A. in English and Sociology.
Lucy lives outside of Middleburg and enjoys hiking in the area. She is an avid reader and is always up for a book recommendation. She loves to travel and spend time with her husband, Ted, son, Robert and daughter, Anna.
Director of Marketing
Katherine began working for Wiseman & Associates in January of 2012, with the opening of the new offices in Middleburg. Katherine has worked in the marketing and communications arena for profit and non-profit groups since 1985. She was Director of Marketing for the Berger Funds in the 1990’s, and then worked as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Education. She further received an appointment to the Board of the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Katherine began getting involved in the non-profit sector starting with the Jane Goodall Institute, then continuing with the Smithsonian’s Conservation Research Center Foundation, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, the Portland Museum of Art, the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, the Education Committee of the Phillips Collection and many other event committees Her areas of interest include strategic planning, capacity building, networking, development and leadership.
Katherine is a 500E-RYT yoga teacher and Ayurveda lifestyle coach. She also enjoys riding, cooking, reading and gardening.
Kathleen M. Cregan
Kathleen joined Wiseman & Associates in July of 2002 as Controller. In this position, she is responsible for the internal accounting operations of the company, as well as cash management and risk management. A CPA, Kathleen is originally from Philadelphia and received a B.A. in English Literature with High Honors from Middlebury College. Prior to joining W&A, Kathleen worked in corporate accounting at Dell in Round Rock, Texas.
